Abstrakt
Dostęp do danych badawczych w Unii Europejskiej jest przyznawany na podstawie decyzji podmiotów finansujących i prowadzących badania. Kwestię tę zmieniła Dyrektywa Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) 2019/1024 z dnia 20 czerwca 2019 r. W sprawie otwartych danych i ponownego wykorzystywania informacji sektora publicznego. Po wdrożeniu dyrektywy udostępnienie danych badawczych stanie się prawnym obowiązkiem i każdy na całym świecie będzie mógł z nich korzystać. Dyrektywa daje jednak znaczną swobodę działania państwom członkowskim. Mając powyższe na uwadze, środowiska akademickie powinny stać się partnerami w dialogu z decydentami politycznymi. W artykule opisano zapisy dyrektywy oraz siedem zaleceń dotyczących krajowych regulacji dotyczących ponownego wykorzystywania danych badawczych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich wykorzystania w medycynie.
