Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Submitted article should include:

  1. Article title,
  2. Abstract placed under the article title,
  3. Key words placed under the abstract,
  4. Full references at the end of the article.

Please provide these information also during submitting an article with the Open Journal System.

Please do not include any data about the author in the name of sent files or in the folded text. These data are collected by the Open Journal System during user registration and are automatically assigned to your application. 

General editorial rules - main text:

  1. font: Times New Roman, 12 points;
  2. line spacing: 1.5 lines;
  3. text justified on both sides;
  4. indentation: standard;
  5. titles and subtitles: Times New Roman font, 12 points, bold;
  6. margins: standard (2.5 cm on each side);
  7. page numbering: continuous, in the right of the bottom of the page.

General editorial rules - footnotes:

  1. footnotes;
  2. font: Times New Roman, 10 points;
  3. line spacing: 1.0 lines;
  4. text justified on both sides.

Editing standards

The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) should be used as a reference for manuscript preparation. Authors are required to format their citations and references using the ‘Notes and Bibliography’ system of the CMOS, 16th edition.

For books consulted online, include an URL or the name of the database in the reference list entry. For other types of e-books, name the format. If no fixed page numbers are available, cite a section title or a chapter or other number in the text, if any (or simply omit).

5. Journal article

In the reference list, include the page range for the whole article. In the text, cite specific page numbers. For articles consulted online, include a URL or the name of the database in the reference list entry. Many journal articles list a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). A DOI forms a permanent URL that begins https://doi.org/. This URL is preferable to the URL that appears in your browser’s address bar.

Journal articles often list many authors, especially in the sciences. If there are four or more authors, list up to ten in the reference list; in the text, list only the first, followed by et al. (“and others”). For more than ten authors (not shown here), list the first seven in the reference list, followed by et al.

The processing of this data is necessary to set up an account and to take further action before concluding the contract on the publication of the submitted text, i.e. pursuant to art. 6 clause 1 point b) GDPR, and if a separate consent is given in order to receive notifications of new publications and announcements based on art. 6 clause 1 point a) GDPR,
