
The author outlines considerations on the criminal aspect of sports practices known as trash-talking. The conducted query of the literature leads to the conclusion that the above-mentioned issues are consistently omitted in research studies. The author first describes the background of the occurrence of the practices i question. He defines trash-talking. Then, the author presents its significant criminal potential, and the proposal of the concept of excluding criminal liability, updating indicated practices. In conclusion, attention was drawn to the contrast resulting
from entering the behavior burdened with a criminal charge under the trash-talkin practice and the imperfection of the previously indicated justifying solutions. Finally, the author opts for the circumstances excluding the criminal responsibility approach.
