
For the purposes of this paper, the author analyzed the implementation by local governments of tasks delegated to government administration and how they are financed from the state budget. The inadequate level of funds provided by governors for the implementation of tasks delegated to local governments in the field of government administration was demonstrated. The author referred to the jurisprudence in which local governments have complained to representatives of the state budget in the subject area. The conclusion of the following paper is to propose changes both in the context of inadequate financing of tasks as well as to adjust the legislation in the field of interest earned by local governments for temporarily holding in bank accounts funds from the state budget, which is intended for the implementation of tasks delegated to government administration.
