The author takes up the issue of legal education from the perspective of the communicativeness of the legal text and its social function. First of all, it should be assumed that legal education cannot be limited to specific branches of law. It is necessary to take into account the more general dimension in the form of scientific achievements of legal theory. The position taken in this study proposes to approach the legal text as an element of a broader process of linguistic communication and understanding in a social group, which at the same time leads to its integration. Linguistic competence is an important factor in this process.
