Various socio-economic changes in recent years are one of the many reasons for the weakening of social bonds. It resulted in a risk of social exclusion for some groups of people. To prevent these threats, the Polish legal system is a division system that applies the principles of „work instead of benefits” to support people at risk of exclusion. Some of these units are managed by organizations affiliated with the Catholic Church and thus try to help in times of need. This paper is intended to discuss this very issue.
