Współczesny abolicjonizm więzień

Abstrakt

Idea likwidacji instytucji więzienia jest obecna od kilku dekad w teorii prawa karnego, kryminologii, jak również obszarze zainteresowań ruchów i organizacji społecznych. Artykuł zawiera omówienie aktualnie rozwijanych nurtów idei abolicjonizmu więzień. Poza przedstawieniem poszczególnych odmian koncepcji abolicjonistycznych autor referuje taktykę polityczną proponowaną przez zwolenników abolicjonizmu oraz wskazywane przez nich alternatywy kary pozbawienia wolności. Przedstawiane w artykule odmiany idei zniesienia więzień to abolicjonizm: rasowy, prozdrowotny, rewalidacyjny, feministyczny, LGBTQ+, anarchistyczny, ekologiczny i imigrancki.
